Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too. - Frederick Buechner
If society prospers at the expense of the intangibles, how can it be called progress?
Um, by the way, the "singing" lines just seem to flow out of me before I can stop them - but considering that I am a singer at heart, I hope thats understandable I read somewhere once that "music is the voice of the human soul," and, well, my voice comes out singing!
As far as publishing, well, you've arleady read the only 3 poems I've got, so I'll need to write a few more...
Individual poems can be printed in magazines where you only sell a one-time only right so when you have a collection they can be published as a complete work.
Look at Christian magazines and see who's printing poems. Look at national and regional denominational publications, Ideals Magazine. Look at the Christian magazine section of Writer's Market.
Publishing isn't an easy path to tread. Poetry is very competitive, markets are small and the rejections are a bear, but give it some thought.
Allen honey, I seem to remember a poem that you wrote when I was just a wee little one. The one that was published in the news paper. If you've forgotten it, I HAVE A COPY!! Remember, the one about the day of the crucifiction? It's very powerful and I've kept it with me everywhere I go. It hung at work for 8 years and it will go with me to my new job. Next time I see you, I'll make sure you have a copy of it. Cant believe you forgot that one.

Heh! Actually, sister-mine, I didn't forget about it, I just don't have a copy of it anymore, so I didn't bother to mention it! If you've still got it, I'd be grateful if you'd post it here for me! Thanks, dear!
