| Hello all! Been listening to the stations while studying for a couple of weeks now, so I figured it was high time to join. Seems like such a good group of people you've got here.  So here's the quick version: 22-year-old 1/2 Irish, 1/2 Algerian student of library & information science in San Diego. Definitely the Comic-Con type, so I'm pretty happy to live in SD. | Eucatastophe - I like that you're a Comic Con person. Over here in the Atlanta area, we have Dragon*Con and it's a blast. One day, we would like to get to Comic Con. We shall see. It looks as though my son may go next year since he's finishing up photography on a Star Wars book that should be out by then and he's going to have to (oh, gee, my heart bleeds for him) go to promote it. Anyway, I'm sort of a newbie myself. I joined a couple of years ago but I haven't really started posting until recently. And now I'm having all kinds of fun.  |

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Coffee/tea/hot cocoa to you all (choose your weapon - I'm a cocoa girl myself) ~  And Pretentiouswombat, that's so cool about your son! If he does end up coming out here next year, I'll have to get the name of the book so I can check it out. My boyfriend is a *huge* Star Wars dork, so that's a potential Christmas gift for sure.
