OK Ladies and Gentlemen;
From Annabelle's post on Van Helsing, seems the women were all oohing and aahing over Hugh Jackman's long hair.

So my question to you women is this
Is it Hugh Jackman, or is it the long hair???

And my question to the men is
How long is your hair? (or whats left of it, if this applies)

Mine??
Just below the shoulders, light brown turing silver.

Long hair will make me notice a strange guy walking down the street. Personality and intelligence are more important in the long run. But long hair is a definent plus.
Has to be clean and groomed though.

I could pass a military inspection. Don't like long hair any more. Not since I was in the Army. It's not super-super short, but it is short.

Can't tell how long it is now, Paula. Not since you put the artsy, blurred picture on your profile. wink.gif

Well Todd...

In the previous pic.. you could see the end of my braid..
at that time, it was about half way down my back..

I just lopped it off to my shoulders..
after the Holidays..

I think women tend to cut their hair
when they are changing their lifes..
I see a good bit of that where I work...

LOL it is blurry.. but artsy !

Paula

Same here I don't want to worry about the bother. Usually I get my wife to do the honors which are due at the current time. Why waste 1/2 hour and $8.00? Now I do miss the lies, boasts, rumors and politics of the local Barbershop though, plus Mac (the barber) who is retiring would do a strait razor shave and cleanup on the neck with hot foam shaving cream, now that is worth the cost.

I miss the hot foam and clean up. At Fort Carson, CO, the barber shop at the NCO club used to do that. Man, that felt great!

Well, being at work and my hair being in a ponytail. I had to be anal retentive and get an exact measurement. LOL! My ponytail is 16inches long. That is measured from the base of m'skull.
For the most part it is all one length. NO MULLETS here!
Over the years it has been red, blue purple, and other assorted colors. Right now it is my natural color of blonde. But I might be puting a few rid streaks back into it.
In m'profile... I'm the one with the long hair... OBVIOUSLY! LOL!

Mine grew long and bushy after I got out of the Army the first time. Then when I went back in I cut it short and kept it that way. That is how it stays now, from short to real short. I cut it myself about three or four times a year. It's more practical down here.

Long hair on guys is ok sometimes... it really depends on the guy. It is never nice if it is oily and dirty though! I much prefer the clean cut look though, with some gel to spike it up a bit. My boyfriend just started to trust me to cut his hair. I have done it twice now, and I must say that I suprise myself with what a good job I have done! I must admit that I did make it too short around the ears on my first try though... but I am learning quick! My dad and my brothers would never let me touch their hair, so I feel that Abraham trusting me with his hair is surely a true act of love! heart.gif
As for my hair, it used to be longer, but just a few weeks back I had it cut to lay just a couple of inches below my shoulders. I am really happy with my new style. My profile pic is from a few years ago, and you can't really tell what my hair is like because it is all braided and twisted up.

Here in Asheville Dreds are quite popular, which in my opinion is like wearing a dirty sheep on your head, but as long as it isn't on my head I don't care.

Ok, a new twist. How about the shorn look? How many of you ladies like men with shaved heads? How many of you have shaved your head (men or women)? I never have, although it was buzzed when I went in the Army. Don't have the right shaped head or I might give it a try.
