We took Wally to the Shriners' Hospital in Tampa today and they put his casts on. The breaks were not nearly as bad as we had been led to believe. they daid that barring any problems, he may be out of them in as little as 3 weeks!
God really came through on this one, just the way I trusted that he would.
That is good news, Lil. I know you and your husband feel much better now. My oldest daughter who is now 32 years old broke her arm when she was 3 years old. She had no problems when it was in the cast and hasn't since. The thing is about children they bounce back quicker thas us adults!
Sorry to hear about Wally, but glad things aren't as bad as they originally seemed, thank the Lord! Give him a kiss and wish him well from all of us, okay?

I am really glad to hear he will be alright! Keep us posted.

He is, he is....and the cause of many many laughs. All our kids are great. they each have their own traits and loves and hates, but I think we've done a pretty good job of raising them for the most part......my only wish is that they would do the chores assigned to them like they're supposed to....**said with a sinkful of dirty dishes behind me in the kitchen...that Charles, 16, was supposed to do before I got home from work.....**
*sigh* oh well...rolls up sleeves and prepares to dive in......
