| We have successfully moved all of our website and broadcast databases over to a new dedicated database server! Running at 733mhz and installed with the latest version of Redhat Linux, our new database server should increase the response time of our site. This should result in much faster access to our website and our broadcast. We do apologize for any down time this morning as we needed to shutdown the site and broadcast while we reconfigured the servers. We would appreciate any feedback on the performance of our site and also if anything looks strange or is not functioning properly, please let us know! With all of this work on the servers, we are a little behind in answering emails and such. We should get caught up this weekend, so if you have not received a response, you should get one soon. On another note, we have received 10 new voice recordings from our new station announcer! We will need to mix them with sound effects and music, but we should have the first ones ready in a few days. Judging on the response to our poll, they should be very popular. She does have a very nice voice and a wonderful brogue! |
