hello my friends, it's been forever since I've been on here. How terrible, I do believe they(china) is trying to do their best to get rid of us any way they can. It's really hard to find clothes made here in the USA. I used to always buy Levi's, that brand was as American as apple pie, but not anymore!!! Which really makes me sad and mad! It's all about these companies going for cheaper labor! I hate to think what's in our dinnerware that comes from China! |

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate the day. I'm only working part time now so I have plenty of time to be in the kitchen and that's where I've been most of the day. Lots of family coming for an early dinner tomorrow, so it's cook, cook, cook and I'm lovin' it! |

just fry your mushrooms in a little butter with salt and pepper and they should be really tasty. I just heard that mushrooms are a super food with lots and lots of antioxidants. I add them to my spagetti sauce, put them on pizza, mushroom gravy is yummy over a steak, or try them in an egg and cheese omlette. Some people won't eat them because they're a fungus! Morel mushrooms are the ones that grow wild in my neck of the woods in the spring after a warm rain, if you can find them before the wild turkeys do. They are delicious rolled in cornmeal and fried in oil and butter.
A little advice, don't wash your mushrooms...take a tea towel and wipe them off. |
