Since it appears VetteGal is out for now, I thought I'd help her out so she won't get to far behind greeting our new members! So here is the list of new members since her last post! And it is QUITE a long list! Lets take a moment to welcome thme in proper CR fashion!
Wlecome everyone! Hope you grow to love this pplace as much as I do!
Hi everyone. Another new member here. Everything Scottish and Irish interests me and I am so pleased that I have found you all. My great great great grandfather was from Scotland . His name was Fairbairn and my understanding is that they are part of the Armstrong Clan. My husband's grandfather was from Ireland and that is where the interest in Ireland began. Visiting both countries is on my wish list. I am a Canadian born American citizen who loves both countries and who now lives in the foothills of Kentucky. I have a wonderful husband, two great children (with super mates) and five wonderful grandchildren, all of whom live on the same farm. Even my parents have their own place on the farm. I am much blessed!! I am looking forward to sharing with you all. Isn't life great? [FONT=Courier][SIZE=7][COLOR=blue]
Welcome milady Dragonfly! I'm so glad you decided to join us! We always have room for another lady! I am a McKay on my mother's side and also have an interest in all things Celtic! We are jsut one big happy family and get along very well!
Er.. Well, you do have to watch out for Peckery and Maisky! We don't quite have them housebroken yet, and then VERY rarely Annabelle gets a little violent, but other than that.. (Ducks to avoid the shoe thrown by Annabelle)
Welcome to all our new members!!!! I hope to have a chance to meet some of you around the forums.
Cheers, Roisin

I'm much obliged for the kind greetings of Celtic Rose, Roisin-Teagan, & WizardofOwls. Y'alls hospitality is warming indeed!
Here's a quick question: when I was snooping around the forum last night I ran across a post from a fella who was apologising for posting more than once per day...yep, I must confess I dinna read the directions, and now I canna find 'em :~\ What praytell is the rule about this?

That post was from me and only applied to the Story thread! The Story thread is a story told one line at a time by each of the contributing writers! The rules for the story are that you may only post line per day, that way the story becomes a truly collaborative effort! It does not apply anywhere else on these boards! Feel free to post as much as you like and as often as you like!
Welcome to the CR family! I hope to hear much more from you!

Nate, the rule is pretty simple:
HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!
Post as often as you like and by all means raise a glass as often as you can.
Hi All, I'm Back!!!!!! Was at my Sisters as she and her hubby were away for their anniversary, I was with the rugrats!! Wizard, thanks for filling in as I couldn't get into the site as my sister's computer is an apple and I didn't want to use it since I never used it before. So without further ado, I bring you, our newest members!!
I'm revieved to be assured that my periodic loquacity will not be impeded.
This Texan Scot (Clan Pringle) observes a cherished custom. At 4 of the clock we, together or singularly, begin lifting pints of ale (no yankee "pee-beer" will do!) and do so until supper is served. If it's a quite special eve we regale ourselves with haggis and neeps & taddies...Heavenly it is!
Hi All, KotG here, I have open up the gate to let in some more new members!! Let's all welcome the following to our big happy and sometimes goofy (Peckery) family.
Welcome aboard, Caldwell! I'm glad you joined. Have a look around and enjoy! You will find an interesting bunch of people here, many, many nice, kind, friendly and most of all caring guys; ready to share - laughter and sorrow as well... Hope to see you around in the forum!
