Ahh, Spring. Florida has the college Spring breakers (sunburns), rip currents and shark bites already. Val, we desperately need rain also. Alot of brush fires are breaking out. But pretty soon the rains should come, then we have to watch out for lightning.

"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves."

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
The first day of my vacation (from 2007!) has gone I have to admit, that I was really busy as a bee. There was to remove some cubic meters loamy ground (to clear space for a drystone wall) and to fill it in at an other place to build a garden terace. And the best: mechanical support (by a digger or such a thing) wasn't possible. So I did it like our grandfathers - by a shovel, a wheelbarrow and streams of sweat....
here i am taking a break from work, navigating my way thru celtic radio, thinking how kewl it would be to navigate my way thru scotland ferreals right now... and this bagpipe starts playing from across the street!!
i've never heard anyone play the bagpipes around here before, as far as i know.
