Thanks to Raven, I have all 3 Arminta and Blaq Lily cd's coming tomorrow.
Because of listening to CR, I have added Clann An Drumma, Wicked Tinkers, Fenians, Irish Drinking Songs, Natalie McMasters, Leahy, Afro-Celtic Sound System, Regimental Emblems, The Rogues and Loreena McKennitt.
Because of going to shows or fests to see some of the above and other bands were there playing, I have picked up, Hadrians Wall, Searson, Glengarry Bhoys and Celtic Soul.
Happy to have this station to listen to and yes, I do buy CD's too. Really does great things for my soul. I like a good variety and had shopped at Amazon lots. I was introduced to Heather Dale through this station and bought her CD too.
I'm new to the forum, but appreciate it very much.

I certainly wouldn't have discovered anywhere near as much of this great music without Paul and Highlander Radio! I wouldn't have met all these wonderful people (and sock monkies); and I still probablywouldn't know how to admin a irc server or be worth a crap with TCL.
The Artist's are great! The fans are great! The music is great! the conversation is great! the site is great! Paul is great!
What am I missing... I know I'm missing something... there's got to be several more things that are great about Highlander Radio!

Aaediwen, may I be so bold to say it is because of people like you who make this site great?! You are always so kind and helpful to everybody, especially to computer illiterate people like me!
I got more CDs that I am going to buy!
Enter the Haggis Twin Flame
and another one I failed to write down. I think their name is in Gaelic.

In the last 12 months, no I didn't because of the radio station. BUt now that I am listening to it a lot, I am finding a ton of music that I just love. Once I get paid i will most definitely buy cds because of this station!

There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it; And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile, And with dew from his eye often wet it. It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.
Emerald Rose Amadan the former that I bought 3CDs after found Star of the County Down, so cool sound the latter is by luck (May winner), hey man, they sound really cool too, pay try to buy the CD (should have some free mp3s from official site to tryout)
I have to change my original vote of a NO to a YES, as I have just bought a Heather Dale CD to go with the CD I won. Hopefully this will not start too much of a trend for me, as it will definitely cut into my student pub money

So far no, but I have a long list of things I want! As soon as I get back from vacation I plan to start purchasing some of them. I have been going to the library and looking for them there (without a lot of luck) and found a few free (legal) downloads online that I transfered to my mp3 player. Thanks to Highlander Radio, though, I do have Heather Dale's May Queen!

"You thought the leaden winter would bring you down forever, But you rode upon a steamer to the violence of the sun. And the colors of the sea blind your eyes with trembling mermaids, And you touch the distant beaches with tales of brave Ulysses: How his naked ears were tortured by the sirens sweetly singing, For the sparkling waves are calling you to kiss their white laced lips." "The tiny purple fishes run laughing through your fingers, And you want to take her with you to the hard land of the winter." Tales Of Brave Ulysses by Eric Clapton and Martin Sharp
