yes I have suggested that and he has refused, I have been supportive of him for almost 20 years, I doubt my love for him would let me stop now. I'm just lost at the moment I guess on what to do.First the cancer, now this.......Can I scream and leap off a Building in to a pale of cold water to wake up from all of this???
I'll keep you both in my prayers. Will he at least go talk with his doctor? Maybe this is a hormonal imbalance, or other chemical deficiency/imbalance that could be addressed? Keep trying. We're all thinking of you.

I have not had the time to wade back through all of this, but if a deity is what you are looking for to help with a particular problem, then I say look within!
I am not being crass or evasive... everyting comes from within and being in tune with self has the power to show you the path that is meant to be followed. The creator is within all life and speaks in soft whispers!

Angel, How is Jason? How are you doing? Still thinking of you both.
hey there, We are doing ok. Making it day by day. Thanks everyone for your support during this hard time. I think you will all be pleased to know that I have found my Deities. All of your words helped open my innerself to the truth of it all. Thank you SHadows for your true words & Jax, Your suggestion did help & got me in the frame of mind I needed to be in to actually hear the answer. *sends big huggs to each of you* Thank you so very much for every thing! muchlove,
I think mine didn't find me yet, but I'm not willing to be found maybe. In Poland it's hard to be pagan - it's considered freakish maybe. Still no religion yet has been good for me - each puts restrictions I hate. Especially christainity, which I consider, sorry if I offend anyone, paranoic. but that's only my view. so still I'm to be found

There are quiet a few I feel connected to, but have heard that you may only have 1 deity of each. This is where the confusion is comming in.

That is why I asked....."How will I know when I have been chosen"
I think it's a typical monotheistic view. I wouldn't care about that if I shold have to find harmony. And about knowing whether you've been found? Sorry , but it could be like with Morpheus - you find a god and he tells you he's been looking for you all your life sounds weird, but if you can feel that.... good for you.
I am really at a loss here. I have been enjoying the Pagan/Wiccan way of life for some time now but still have yet to find a deity that is suited to me. How can I do this? Is it a matter of timing? Do they need to remain a secret? How will I know when I have been chosen? How did you find your Deities???
Is it necessary you find a deity? How much journeywork have you undertaken to find them? I keep my relationship with them to myself, except when needing to verify UPG.
I found my deities a long time ago when I first started journeying. It wasn't, however, until two years ago that I realised why they had withheld their names. I was searching in the wrong pantheon. I had thought I was heathen, but my gods belong to the celtic/brythonic realm rolleyes: and, had it not been a chance encounter with a supposed tramp during a journey and my mention of him, I would never have known who they all were.

If the deities fell that you are ready for them to make themselves known to you, trust me when I say that you will know it... It took me almost a year before Kuan Yin made herself known to me.
