From September 18th through October 31st, England will be hosting the Rugby World Cup. I discovered rugby and fell in love with the sport a few years ago.

Of course, I love the USA Eagles, but our chances of winning the RWC are about as good as Hillary Clinton inviting Donald Trump over for a cup of tea!! I follow the Irish national team which is currently ranked No. 2 in the world behind the perennial power in New Zealand. The Irish lost to Wales today in a World Cup warm-up. The Welsh team is no slouch! Strong squad.

The RWC is actually one of the three biggest sporting events in the world following the Soccer World Cup and the Olympics (The Super Bowl is a one day event; I am referring to a series).

There are not many venues to see the games, even though Universal will be carrying some.

Anybody else ever given rugby a look? It's a pretty fast paced game with few delays. I'm the only one in my family who even watches it, but watch it, I will!

If you are a rugby fan, put in your two cents worth here. Don't know if we can get much of a discussion going, but it's worth a shot.

Go Ireland!!!

Great start got Ireland! Ireland 50, Canada 7.

Also, the biggest upset in rugby history today! Japan, a 40-1 underdog, defeated former champions South Africa, 34-32. What a game!!

USA plays Samoa tomorrow. Really need this win if they hope to compete for more. Samoa is ranked higher, but anything can happen! Go Eagles!

I'm getting better on the rules, but I still sometimes get a bit lost.

Universal is carrying some games for free. I think they will be carrying the finals live. I watched the Ireland match on pay per view on my laptop.

Fascinating sport!

Love Rugby, been watching it when televised since I was a young lad, but I won't be paying $32 on PPV ( plus tax and tags ) for Saturday's match between So. Africa and New Zealand, thank you very much...

Can't blame you for that a bit! Felt bad that the Pumas smacked Ireland around so badly.

Wish there we easier venues to see the games.

Great match today, The All Blacks take the Wallabies 34-17...
Match stats were fairly even with the match starting a little slow. NZ jumped out to a 21-3 lead, with the Aussies answering back to 21-17 they were then overpowered by the 13 point run by NZ to finish to the tune of 34-17

Great match that was well played and well officiated...Cheers
