Clan: AWARE I am afraid that the luck of the Irish might be running out for us in terms of the weather. While it is a cool 63 degrees right now at 10PM...Tomorrow is supposed to be the start of warmer weather and humidity moving back into the picture. I really wanted to go to the renaissance festival this weekend because it's the Highland weekend, but I can't wander in the rain like that. Thousands without electricity. Food Bank had to throw out all the food for homeless this morning as their electricity was not restored quickly enough. There isn't any kind of a break forecast until after Labor Day either. Then we go from 90's to 80's which will be about normal for a change. Weird summer weather here this year.....one day sweltering and a week later putting fleece on because the high's are only in the low 70's and it feels like 50's! Not really complaining...I've lived here my whole life so I expect heat with humidity in the summer and freezing cold with snow in the winter. It's just the fluctuations seem to be more pronounced than usual. It's already 86 out, one in the afternoon, and 100% humidity. It's hard to breathe out there. So as much as I don't like air conditioning, today, I'm thankful I have it.
