We have added a new menu category to our drop down menu system. Called 'Member Services' it contains a number of useful and 'hard to find' services that are available to all members of CelticRadio.net.
This should make it easier to access some of the more common items of your control panel with point and click ease. Let us know if there is anything else you would like to see in this menu.
On another note, there will some heavy re-arranging on our frontpage. After optimizing the load time of our frontpage, we realized that we could probably reinstate the top-ten list and other useful information that we removed a few weeks back.

Some men are drawn to oceans, they cannot breathe unless the air is scented with a salty mist. Others are drawn to land that is flat, and the air is sullen and is leaden as August. My people were drawn to mountains- Earl Hamner Jr.
Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer "am I worth dying for?" - Eleanor Roosevelt
The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools. -- Herbert Spencer, English Philosopher (1820-1903)
I have to admit that when I saw "New Members Menu", I couldn't help but think, Do we get fries with that ?

I'm looking for someone who has spent much time in and around Inverness, Scotland. My family home is Huntley Scotland. Home of the Gordon's. I'd love to talk to someone who has spent anytime around Inverness and North of there... As a new member I'm not sure if I'm going about this correctly, so hang in there with me...Annabelle
Annabelle, welcome. I am also new but I have the same request. My grandmother's family is supposed to be from the village of Tain. I believe it is just north of Inverness in or around the Moray Firth.

"...so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
I know Inverness quite well, although I am a native of Edinburgh. I spent many holidays around there when I was a girl. My Dad's family are from near Inverness.
If either of you have any specific questions, please post them in the Scottish section - I try to check that forum regularly and if I can, I'd be happy to answer any questions. I may not know the answer, but I have an uncle still living just outside Inverness - so I could probably FIND the answer!
Fellow "Celts" wanting to know about Tain & Inverness!!! Well, although I'm many miles away, now living in Houston, Texas, I actually grew up in Tain & then lived in Inverness for 5 years prior to moving to the States. So anyone with questions about that particular area of Scotland I'd be happy to answer the best I can. BTW, not wanting to plug my music TOO much but from my website you can reach many links regarding Inverness & Tain. www.hughmorrison.co.uk
Also, big thanks again to Paul at Celticradio.net for promoting my music. All the best, Hugh
Thanks, Hugh, for the response. I'll be sure to check out your website and your music. I'm sure that I will send some questions your way about Tain if you are up to it. That is where my grandmother's family is originally from. Thanks again, John
And finally some very exciting news. Very soon we will have a "Voice" of Highlander Radio. No, it is not yours truly, but a young lady from the U.K. with a beautiful brogue that will be producing a number of station trailers over the next 6 months. We are waiting for the first trailer to be produced and will let you know when it is up and playing.
That wee celtic lass has voice that just beckons for the green celtic hills . . .
