My mom is researching our family history from Ireland. Our family name is Flahiff but we are finding no record of this name in Ireland. It must have changed in some way when it got here. We found a Flahiff branch in Canada, also. I'm mostly just curious, but I found I really like the music. I am currently looking for some vintage dolls, busy acid etching glass, and learning how to use my new (used) minolta camera and lenses. I have twin boys, age 25. One just gave me a beautiful new granddaughter, my first grandchild. The other is working on a move to Chicago to assist his fiance with living expenses while she goes to cooking school. My husband and I have been married for 26 years and enjoy walking our dogs at the metroparks.

"You thought the leaden winter would bring you down forever,
But you rode upon a steamer to the violence of the sun.
And the colors of the sea blind your eyes with trembling mermaids,
And you touch the distant beaches with tales of brave Ulysses:
How his naked ears were tortured by the sirens sweetly singing,
For the sparkling waves are calling you to kiss their white laced lips."
"The tiny purple fishes run laughing through your fingers,
And you want to take her with you to the hard land of the winter."
Tales Of Brave Ulysses
by Eric Clapton and Martin Sharp
